Early Years Practitioner (Part Time)

We are searching for dedicated, enthusiastic team members to join our new and flourishing year-round nursery.

About the role:

Salary: £24,000.00 – £30,000.00 pro rata (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours: 8 – 20 per week

Annual Leave: 20 Days + Up to 12 days paid shutdown

We are looking for positive, reliable, responsible and experienced practitioners who thrive in a dynamic environment where working as a team ensures the very best provision for the children in our Nursery.

The key tasks of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Using your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development to provide the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery
  • Establishing strong professional relationships with the children, their parents, and colleagues
  • Celebrating children’s learning and development with them and their families

To be considered for the position you will need to:

Hold a relevant qualification such in Early Years Childcare

  • Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Have at least 1 year of recent experience in a day care setting (desirable, but not essential)
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and, be able to contribute to planning, observations and reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

KS1 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team starting in April 2025 on a maternity cover contract. We are looking for a passionate educator who will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment both indoors and outdoors, fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to children in Key Stage 1.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and evaluate the curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student development.
  • Foster a love of learning and help students achieve their full potential.

About You:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Passionate about working with young children and helping them grow.

KS2 Teacher with specialism in Maths

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher with a specialism in Maths to join our team starting in September 2025. We are looking for a passionate educator who will create a stimulating and supportive learning environment both indoors and outdoors, fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge pupils.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel confident and excited to explore mathematical concepts.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to enhance learning and develop problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching Maths across the school.
  • Encourage critical thinking and the development of mathematical reasoning and fluency.
  • Support the development of a positive mindset towards Maths, helping students to build resilience in the subject.

About You:

Minibus Driver

猫咪社区 are seeking to recruit a reliable and punctual individual who holds a valid clean driving licence with category D1 to carry out a daily morning and afternoon minibus run in the local area. Training can be provided if D1 not held.

Starting in September 2025, the role is term time only and the working hours are from 0700 – 0900 and 1645 – 1830 (approximately 17.5 hours per week – part time), Monday to Friday during term time. There may be further opportunities to support with minibus driving during school trips if desired.

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to cover both morning and afternoon bus runs however we are also interested to hear from candidates who can support with one run per day.
